Spartanburg County deputies are looking for an armed robber who was caught on camera struggling with his disguise.
Deputies said a man armed with a handgun tried to rob the Li'l Cricket on Valley Falls Road at about 2 a.m. on Friday.

Surveillance footage showed the would-be robber taking his mask off after he walked into the store. He then struggled to put it back on while holding the gun. After three attempts, the man turned his back to the clerk and used both hands to put the mask back on before returning to the counter.
In the end, the man left empty-handed. The clerk told investigators that neither he nor the robber could get the cash register open.
