Iceland's Phallological Museum finally gets human specimen

The Icelandic Phallological Museum has finally received it’s first specimen from a human.

The museum was bequeathed the reproductive organ by 92-year-old Páll Arason, who passed away back in January. Arason had promised his penis to museum curator Sigurður Hjartarson 14 years ago.

The museum had waited almost three months to get their hands on Arason’s genitals, and his penis with scrotum and both testicles were finally presented to the museum last Friday. In formalin.

The museum now contains a collection of two hundred and nine penises and penile parts belonging to almost all the land and sea mammals that can be found in Iceland.

Exactly what credentials should one acquire to become a "penis historian?"
