Man complains to police that he didn't get correct change after drug deal

A North Charleston man was arrested last week after he complained to police that the drug dealer he bought crack cocaine from did not give him the correct change.

North Charleston police charged Dexter White, 41, of Old Pine Court with disorderly conduct after he called police at 4:30 a.m. on Friday.

White told the officer that he gave a man named "C" $60 and received only $20 worth of crack. He asked for his $40 back but the man refused to give it to him.

White told police he smoked the crack he received, then called 911. Police arrested White for loitering where drugs are sold.

With audio of the 911 call.
