Police helicopter and dog unit fail to locate man seen shadowboxing with lamppost

A man was observed acting in a bizarre manner and disturbing the peace in Chanhassen, Minnesota on Thursday evening.

According to the Carver County Sheriff’s Office, the man was seen on the corner of Highways 41 and 5 at about 10 p.m., yelling and running around in circles.



The person calling police said the man, estimated to be between 18 and 25 years old, was also shadowboxing with a lamppost.

When confronted, the man ran away from the scene. Sheriff’s deputies tried to find the man using a K-9 team and a State Patrol helicopter, but were unable to locate the suspect.
