Crazy Glue incident lands man in jail

Memphis police arrested a man on Thursday after he allegedly super-glued a Whitehaven woman's electronics into the wall sockets of her bedroom.

According to an affidavit, Abram Perkins, 40, plugged the woman's electronics into sockets with Crazy Glue and poured water on some equipment, causing $4,300 worth of damage.

After confronting Perkins in her bedroom, which the victim also uses as an office, the woman asked him what happened to her things. Perkins laughed and admitted to the vandalism.

He then left, taking some items with him. Police arrested Perkins at his house across the street from the scene of the crime. He is currently out on $2,000 bond.

He must be somehow sick in the head or just utterly dumb. Or maybe getting arrested was his plan all along.

Meh. Lover's quarrel probably. Hopefully he's made to replace everything, assuming he didn't purchase it for her to begin with.

By the way, her BEDROOM is also an OFFICE? Is that how they phrase it these days?

Ha, so it seems I am not hopelessly dirty and depraved after all, since I managed to imagine her using her bedroom as an office without thinking that meant she was a prostitute. *wags finger at Wag*

gluing the electronics plugs into the sockets and then pouring water on them... was he trying to start a fire?

My bedroom is my office. Half the room has the bed, nighttable, dresser; the other half has three bookcases, a desk, a filing cabinet, a chair and ottoman and the fireplace.
