Pet hospital thieves steal banjo‬‏

Police are looking for the people who robbed a St. Petersburg veterinary hospital twice in recent months. Among the stolen items was an antique banjo.

The burglaries happened at the Central Animal Hospital located at 4801 4th Street North during the midnight hours of May 9 and July 8.

Surveillance video shows man taking money from a cash drawer and rummaging through drawers during the May 9 burglary. He is later seen leaving with a banjo case and a plastic garbage bag. Inside the case was an antique Gibson RB3 Mastertone 5-string banjo, and in the garbage bag were several cameras and electronics.
