Horry County Police Department responded to a domestic incident in mid-June after a woman called 911 saying her husband wanted her to go to jail after she slapped him when he reportedly refused to have sex with her. According to a police report, officers responded to a home along Strand Drive around noon on June 17 in reference to a domestic dispute.
Upon arrival, officers were told by the wife that she and her husband were arguing and she slapped him. She also told officers her husband was going to call the police, so she would do it for him, according to the report. The husband claimed she never hit him and she just wanted to go to the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

In the 911 call, she told the dispatcher her husband wanted her to go to jail. "Basically I slapped him this morning because he wouldn't have sex with me, and he hasn't had sex with me in a couple of months, so I slapped him across the face and he wants me to go to jail," reported the caller. "I guess it would be a CDV since I touched him."
The wife then told the dispatcher she was going to change clothes and get ready for the police to arrive, because she didn't want to go to jail in a sweatshirt and a pair of boxer shorts she was wearing at the time.

But.. he says she never hit him... I mean, it's quite possible she did, and that he's not willing to pursue charges for whatever reason, but with her calling the police, saying "I've hit my husband and he wants me to go to jail," and then saying she wants a chance to clean up before they come and collect her... well, she does sound awfully eager, doesn't she? So maybe his story is true, and she is only claiming to have hit him in order to get into there. But why? Smuggling? I imagine if she does go, she'll be subject to an extra-thorough body search now...
