Man mooning traffic hit up behind by car

An Australian youth is nursing sore buttocks after being struck by a car while 'mooning' the driver.

Five men were reported to police after being seen standing in the middle of Wright Road in Serpentine 'mooning' passing cars at about 10pm. Police spokesman Steve Jones said one of the men was taken to hospital after being hit by a passing car.

"Five youths, aged 19 to 20 years, were in the middle of the road with their pants down around their ankles, mooning passing vehicles,'' he said. "The first vehicle was able to take evasive action, but another vehicle travelling approximately 400m behind has collected one of the youths.

"The youth has sustained cuts and abrasions to his arms and buttocks. He is being x-rayed at Armadale Hospital for possible fractures to his right arm and leg. It appears the pedestrian was at fault.''
