Drag queens in bar brawl

Six men walked into a pub dressed as saucy Swedish women and got into an almighty brawl with some locals. Chairs were thrown and other drinkers dived for cover when the two groups clashed. One of the drag queens had a chair smashed over her his head.

The unladylike behaviour was caught on the bar’s CCTV and officers want to trace those involved in the fancy-dress fracas. A police spokesman said: “There was some nasty violence. Clearly we don’t want that sort of thing going on.

“It may have had ­something to do with the way they were dressed. One of them was hit over the head with a chair. It looked like a scene from a Carry On movie with these busty blondes fighting these blokes. But this was a serious fight and we need to make sure no one gets away with this level of violence.”

The men were wearing pig tails, crop tops, and thigh-high skirts when they arrived at the Jailhouse Rock pub in Lincoln and started chatting to the other group. A row started and after one of the locals attacked a “Swede” with the chair, all hell broke loose. Both groups fled before police arrived. It is thought no one suffered any serious injuries. Officers released the CCTV images in the hope people in Lincoln would recognise the men and come forward.
