Uh, guys... Lemmings are notoriously aggressive to everything and everyone: Their survival strategy is to jump and squeak and bite at anything that gets even close to them, no matter how big - you would just have to stand close to one of these little grenades and they will go off.
Yes, their defensive technique includes defecating all over the place as they shriek and bite - few things turn one off a meal like trying to eat will small heaps of shit around.
Lemmings are extremely territorial; you just have to step into ones territory and it will go off like a kind of squeaky claymore mine with teeth.
