Burglars used frozen pork chops to break into video production company

According to authorities, thieves broke into a business in Waterloo, Iowa, sometime on Sunday night and fled with video cameras. They gained entry by smashing a package of frozen pork chops through a glass door.

The burglars also used something to pry at the door, according to a police report. The owner of Ron Knapp Video Production discovered the break-in on Monday morning.

He reported a JVC camera valued at $6,500 and a Canon camera worth $1,300 missing. The intruders, however, failed to take supporting equipment needed to operate the cameras.

Investigators believe the burglary happened sometime between 5 p.m. on Sunday and 5:30 a.m. on Monday.
