Seven men have chosen to clean-up an alleyway with mops and buckets after being caught urinating in public view.
The men, aged between 19 and 23, were caught on Tuesday night and were told they would not be arrested or fined if they agreed to take part in a clean-up.
A Gloucester Police spokesman said the alley in Regent Street was regularly used by people who could not be bothered to find a toilet. He said 26 other men had been caught urinating in the lane since August.
"The community is fed up with waking up to this sort of mess in their town," the force spokesman added. "These men may have thought this was acceptable behaviour but we hope this has taught them that it really isn't."

Interestingly enough there's been some debate recently about whether urinating in public is even illegal in England and Wales.
