Wife jailed for fatal row over Harry Hill's TV Burp - Update

A dental nurse has been jailed for 10 years after she killed her husband for insisting on watching football while she wanted to watch Harry Hill's TV Burp. Leonora Sinclair, 50, from Enfield, north London, got into a furious row over what to watch on television with 73-year-old Lloyd.

Mr Sinclair was found by paramedics bleeding to death in the hallway of their semi-detached property. Mr Sinclair, a driver for a church care centre, was said to be frightened of his wife because of previous assaults.



On the afternoon of Saturday, January 15, she texted a friend: 'I am watching Steel Magnolias and getting pissed on wine while Lloyd makes the dinner. LOL.' They later argued over what to watch and the pensioner was stabbed with a kitchen knife in his left thigh.

Drunken Sinclair told Pc Gillian Bills on the way to hospital: 'We had an argument about what to watch on TV. He wanted to watch football and I wanted to watch Harry Hill.' Sinclair, who had been involved in two previous marriages, denied stabbing her husband. She said she had panicked when she claimed he was injured by falling on a broken wine glass.
