Head torch terrier owner wanted for doorbell thefts

A man with a head torch and a terrier-like dog is being sought in connection with a spate of what police on Teesside have described as unusual thefts.

Over the past two weeks a number of doorbells have been taken from homes in the Marske area.

Officers said that because they are of little value there does not appear to be a reason for them to be stolen. A CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incidents has been released.

The man is described as about 5ft 10ins tall, balding on top with cropped hair and aged between 40 and 60. He wears a head torch and has a terrier-type dog with him.

Maybe he's trying to stop interference on his home wireless network?

Why dont they say he is between 2 score and 3 score years old ? 5 foots and 10 inches ? What fraction of a chain is that, or is it equal to 12 leagues ?
The rest of the world has gone metric, thats a system based on 10. I wanted to buy a greenhouse a few weeks ago, they said it was 16 feets long, I had to put the heel of one of my foots on to the toe of my other feet 16 times, mark the start and finish and then measure it. Just over 3.6 metres !
And pounds ! Dont get me started on pounds ! I weigh 110 kilogrammes, thats exactly the same as what a 110 litre tank of water weighs, (less the tank of course) its like magic, a litre of water weighs a kilogramme, or a thousand grams...and a thousand kilogrammes is a ton ! How simple is that ! I weigh just over a tenth of a ton ! What do I weigh in the measurements from 4 centuries ago ?
Well, 1; Who cares. and 2; a number of rocks, some monetry units and a few ounces, whatever they are.
Its 2012, isn't it about time we started using cars rather than horses ?
