Man arrested after dialing 911 to report woman wearing lipstick

A Waterloo, Iowa, man was arrested on Saturday after allegedly calling 911 to report that a woman at his home was wearing lipstick.

Officers were sent to 1900 City View St. at about 8:30 p.m. after emergency dispatchers received a 911 call, according to the police report.



When they arrived, they found Harold Lee Patterson Jr., who appeared to have been drinking. He admitted to drinking beer and said he called 911 because a woman at his house was wearing lipstick.

Patterson, 52, was arrested for misdemeanor making a false report to law enforcement. He was later released from jail.
