Yeah, he was letting his dog upset a skunk, but he wasn't letting the dog hurt it (he scolded it for play-biting the skunk) and in the end the dog may have learnt something from the experience.
I agree with the first Anonymous--the human present should be given the blue syringe. He subjected both animals to a totally avoidable confrontation. Anyone who takes joy in the suffering of others is a danger to us all. --A.
some dogs do NOT learn that skunks can cause them pain.
I have a relative who lives in farm country - one of her dogs would slink home in great discomfort, stinking of skunk, time after time after time. She had to keep it chained up - it just did NOT learn
Funny or not, calling for the summary execution of the owner is a bit much, don't you think? Gotta love the extreme responses bred as a result of internet anonymity.
