Man crashes truck before removing clothes in one motion and attacking woman

Police are investigating an incident in which a man drove his vehicle into an apartment building, then removed his clothes and attacked a female bystander in Rossford, Ohio, on Wednesday. Police report that just before 8:10 p.m. Anthony D. Parrish, 45, drove a 2004 GMC pick-up truck at a high rate of speed when he approached a bend.

The truck then struck a kerb, causing the vehicle to go airborne. It subsequently struck the porch of a nearby house, landed on a car parked in the driveway, and slid into the side of an apartment building. The resident of the home and a resident of the apartment building, who were inside their respective homes at the time of the crash, were not injured.

Parrish, who sustained minor injuries in the crash, exited the truck and then reportedly stripped off his clothing and began chasing an unidentified female who was walking nearby. He reportedly began to choke the woman before he was tackled by two citizens from the neighbourhood. Police also restrained him.
