Emu leaves bar rather large surprise

An emu walked into a bar and then pooed on the carpet.

The rude creature found its way into Denham’s Shark Bay Hotel in Western Australia, catching the attention of patrons.

But he managed to escape before Administration Manager Ben Jones got to the scene. "I ran out of the office to see but it was too late," Jones said. "I thought, at least have the courtesy to ask where the toilets are!"

Thankfully, the incident was caught on CCTV, but all the emu left behind was his inconsiderate mess - and it took three people to clean it up before dinner service. "After talking to the locals, it seems that emus have walked into the pub before. But this is the first time it has been captured on video," Jones said.
