A daily mish-mash of stuff, fluff and nonsense
Engrish aside, I must say it looks quite tasty. Of course, I'm hungover right tnow, so my standards aren't exactly haute cuisine at the moment.
The translator had taken each Chinese character literally. The translation is close though. The dish is actually cheddar cheese, bacon and mushroom noodle. '车打芝士' is a verbal translation of cheddar cheese - The pronunciation of these 4 characters goes like this : Che-Da-Zhi-Shi. '面' can mean surface, face or noodle. I don't know the actual reason why this character has multiple meanings but I personally believe it's because a piece of flattened dough and a face are considered surfaces of something/someone.
Thanks for all the info, Elena!Cheddar cheese, bacon and mushroom noodle sounds good!
It looks like puke and vanilla pudding.
Hey don't knock it till you try it.
