Pig vomit sign divides neighbours

George Brannon calls himself an artist, and his politically charged work is displayed on his front lawn. Some neighbours don't like it. Others say it's art and a form of freedom of expression.

Either way, Brannon is unapologetic. "It's not a sign. It's my artwork," Brannon said. "I've declared myself a right-wing yard artist."

It's hard to miss the sculpture at the two-story home on the 600 block of Caladium Drive. It included a sign with two letters that are popular for another reason, however, Brannon said it was totally innocent. "That's ‘Fatties United,'" he quipped.

The purpose of the sculpture is to flaunt Brannon's political beliefs and to warn thieves he said stole two yard ornaments on separate occasions. It calls them calls them "pig vomit" and warns that an attempt at another theft could get them shot.
