Troubled Chinese lady ripped up cash she'd withdrawn from bank for mental disorder treatment
Staff members in the Sichuan branch of Bank of China continue to splice together the shreds of 50,000 yuan, (£4,920, $7,945), bank notes torn up by a woman who suddenly fell ill on May 3.
It took 6 hours for 12 bank clerks to successfully splice only one complete 100-yuan bank note.
The money was originally meant for the woman's mental disorder treatment.

Oh dear, why is the money handed to her and not her family in the first place?
