Davenport police officer Robert Bytnar said police were called to a house on West 10th Street at about 2:20 p.m. on a report of a woman who allegedly had attacked someone with a pooper-scooper.

Officer Bytnar said police were told that a man and a woman had overstayed their welcome at the house, so the owner chased them out with the pooper scooper. As the two ran from the house, police said they dropped a collection of Beanie Baby toys.
Police later escorted them from the spot where they dropped the toys to a storage facility where they would be secured. Officer Bytnar said that while the pooper-scooper was not loaded, it still was dangerous. "We believe it was empty, but it had residue on it," he said. No arrests were made.
