Firefighters rescue woman with hand stuck in pool table

Firefighters were called out to a San Diego bar early on Sunday to free a 22-year-old woman who got her hand stuck inside a pool table. "I don't know if she was going for an engagement ring or what, but she put her arm all the way in," said Sharon Rangel, a bartender at the U-31 Bar and Cocktail Lounge on University Avenue at 31st Street.

The woman got her hand stuck in the pool table while trying to grab a ball. Firefighters said her hand became stuck because of the bracelets she was wearing.

The staff called for help at about 1:45 a.m., according to a San Diego Fire-Rescue Department dispatcher.

Firefighters spent about 15 minutes disassembling the pool table to free the woman's hand. Rescuers disassembled the bottom of the pool table, Rangel said. The woman was not taken to a hospital, the dispatcher said. And the table? "It's OK. I've got people playing on it right now," Rangel said.

Ah, yes. The obligatory douchebag with his pinky and thumb sticking out. It's a like a universal constant of stupidity.
