Dog named Lucky inherits his master’s fortune

A lucky dog named Lucky is the beneficiary of the estate of his late owner, Kenneth Bortz of Fort Worth, Texas.

Bortz had stored enough fine china, world-class silver and antique furniture to fill ten homes.

When his partner died, Bortz had no one to share his fortune except his dogs — and Lucky is the last one. Now Lucky lays claim to the finer things in life.

Bortz’s distant relatives didn't want the collectibles, so a series of estate sales are taking place with the proceeds going towards Lucky's care. His nieces and nephews in the Midwest will inherit the money once Lucky’s life of luxury ends.
