Man, 69, accused of stealing condoms and five bottles of lotion

A 69-year-old man apparently had a big night planned when police say he tried stealing condoms and bottles of lotion from a Roxbury, Massachusetts, store.

Harry Johnson is facing charges of unarmed robbery after he was arrested outside the Tremont Street Walgreen’s & Stop Shop Shopping Center, police said. According to police, Johnson walked into the store, began stashing items under his shirt and in his backpack, and walked out without paying.

When store employees confronted him outside, Johnson grabbed his waist — as if he was reaching for a weapon — and told them, “I have a gun,” before lunging at them in what police described as a “threatening manner.”

When police searched him, officers found no gun, but did find a 12-pack of Trojan Magnum condoms under Johnson’s shift and five bottles of Nivea lotion inside his backpack. Johnson was arraigned at Roxbury District Court on Friday. A judge set bail at $1,500 and ordered Johnson to stay away and have no contact with the victims and location where the incident occurred. He is due back in court on Oct. 12.

I am 65, and for years now my wife and I run a regular schedule. We do it three days in a row, then take day four off. We are much better at it than we were in our twenties. It just gets better. My mother died at 88, and my father said that they were still getting it on pretty often until about six months before she died. These children strutting about our streets half naked haven't a clue. Nobody tells them that the reason not to do "it" before marriage is that most young men would make a mess of it anyway, and it is far better to spend the time learning foreplay technique that will server you well for the rest of your lives. Holding back makes for endless hours of creative, learning experience, like driver's ed.
