Dalai Lama's 'forget' mistaken for swear word

Donning a Brown University baseball cap, clasping his hands and inclining with a slight bow, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet took the stage before an audience of thousands of students, faculty members and Providence residents on Tuesday afternoon, delivering a speech titled “A Global Challenge: Creating a Culture of Peace.”



Unfortunately a captioning mistake at the Rhode Island Convention Center left the audience with “then f*ck it” as His Holiness’ transcribed final words, the Dalai Lama actually urging them to share his thoughts with others if they found them interesting. If not, they could "forget."
