Crews tried to coax it down from a telephone pole, but it was too afraid.
The raccoon climbed down some, then got suspicious and climbed back up again.

Neighbours stood watch for hours as the raccoon hugged the pole and refused to come down. Eventually, the raccoon finally felt comfortable enough to climb down and was freed of the jar.

Poor thing. But, it reminds me of a song. I like peanut butter, creamy peanut butter,
chunky peanut butter, too....
