By-election candidate uses electioneering jet-pack

Corby and East Northamptonshire by-election candidate Mr Mozzarella took to the skies to promote his campaign to become an MP.



The Don’t Cook Party candidate carried out the stunt while strapped to a jet-pack in Corby on Saturday.

The ‘Italian take-away chef’ said he’s fighting to “save the nation from boring celebrity chefs” and to “remove speed bumps in all takeaway hot-spots in Corby”.

His campaign manager, Jonny Lockwood, said: “Hopefully he’s going to get a few votes. It’s a very interesting seat because it’s a barometer of how the nation is voting.”
