Suspected petrol thief set himself, his truck and a home on fire

A suspected thief In Mesa, Arizona, thought he could steal other people's petrol but got burned. He set himself and his truck on fire, then crashed into a nearby home.

The man is seen rolling on the ground trying to put out the flames consuming his shirt. Investigators said it's his own fault, though. They said he was trying to steal gasoline by siphoning it with a motorised pump.

"He was all burnt up,” said Mitch Drum, a neighbour who chased after the man. Even though he didn't catch the crook, his camera caught the crime. “You can see the guy on my video surveillance,” he says.
