Man agitated at not being able to watch football on TV in peace poured faeces over girlfriend

A Spartanburg, South Carolina man was arrested on Wednesday after police say he poured faeces on his girlfriend during an argument.

Dwight Anthony Boyd, 51, was charged with criminal domestic violence. An incident report states that the couple got into an argument at their home, according to the girlfriend's mother, who was visiting at the time.

The mother said Boyd pushed his girlfriend onto the kitchen floor and then poured faeces from a portable toilet belonging to an elderly man being cared for at the house. Police spoke to Boyd, who said he was trying to watch a football game on TV and his girlfriend wouldn't leave him alone.

Boyd said he told the woman that if she came back into the room again, he would throw faeces on her. Boyd remains at the Spartanburg County Detention Facility on a $5,225 bond. He was also charged with an unrelated bench warrant on a littering charge.
