A designer in Japan has created a prototype for a fully-functioning tail, which monitors a person's heart rate and wags faster the more excited they become.
Creator Shota Ishiwatari is hoping to raise over £60,000 on crowd-funding site 'Kickstarter.com' to launch his product.
Known as a 'Tailly', Ishiwatari believes the fluffy accessory will help spread happiness and says it could even aid singles looking for love. "Tailly is fun to wear to parties, while out with friends or playing with kids".

You could even wear Tailly on a date and express your true feelings through the wagging tail," he said. "Even better, your partner could also wear one for the both of you to add a level of subconscious communication."
