Councillors are outraged after the cover of cultural handbook, ZOOM,
showed a giant penis balanced on a chair. The council-funded guide
- handed out to visitors in Lublin, Poland - was supposed to feature the
"cultural splendour" of the city for tourists.
Now angry councillors are
demanding to know who was responsible. "This
travesty of art is incomprehensible and obscene," said local Law and Justice
party spokesman Councillor Sywester Tulajew.
"We demand to know who was
responsible for this decision. Why would anyone in their right mind
think this was the best way to show off our city's culture?" he
added.
One official explained: "We think this was the magazine and its
editor trying to look a bit arty and edgy. They seem to forget that
most of their readers won't be art critics, they'll be ordinary visitors who'll
be shocked by what they see," they added.

Is that the normal shape of penises in Poland?
I'm not really qualified to answer that, but the local councillors are OUTRAGED!
