Irish police seek robbers over 'secret location' theft

Gardaí are seeking information about a burglary at a location they cannot reveal.

Thieves targeted a building used by the gardaí armed division, the Emergency Response Unit (ERU), somewhere in the Republic of Ireland.

A number of items were taken, including a number of flat screen televisions, in the early hours of Monday morning.

Gardaí are unable to issue an appeal for witnesses as the location of the ERU premises has to remain secret for operational reasons. It is not clear whether the raiders knew who owned the building.
