Man wearing pink pillowcase on his head robbed off-licence

A man wielding a baseball bat and wearing a pink pillowcase over his head has robbed an off-licence in Belfast.



Police are now trying to hunt down the armed robber who entered the shop in the Cromac Street area of Belfast at around 5:30pm on Monday.

After threatening staff he stole £165, three bottles of vodka and some beer before escaping on a red bicycle. There were no injuries reported.



The robber has been described as aged in his mid 20s, of average build, approximately 5'8" tall. He was wearing a bright fluorescent green hooded top Adidas top, charcoal jogging bottoms, dark trainers and a pink pillowcase.
