Moonlit derrière spanking finally ends elusive nudist's streak of indecent exposure

Police have arrested a Pennsylvania resident they allege to be the elusive naked man who has been exposing himself around Newark since 2011. The man was arrested late on Saturday after he was seen walking in the buff and slapping his buttocks, police said.

The man was identified as Jason W. Grubbs, 39, of Avondale, Pa., said Lt. Mark Farrall. Police received reports of the naked man and Newark and University of Delaware officers arrested Grubbs attempting to climb a fence. Newark police have had more than a dozen reports of sightings of a naked man since June 2011, and the University of Delaware has had another nine reports on campus.

Grubbs was charged with 13 counts of indecent exposure, and one count each of lewdness, criminal mischief under $1,000, resisting arrest and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, Farrall said. University of Delaware police charged Grubbs with nine counts of indecent exposure, six count of criminal trespassing and one count of lewdness.

The first incident dates back to June 1, 2011, and the last reported incident was Oct. 4, 2012, police said. Grubbs was first charged by Newark police and released on $1,800 unsecured bail before being charged by UD police and released after posting $1,600 secured bail.
