Firefighters used thermal scanners to see if anyone was inside. Their equipment turned up nothing. While Washington County Sheriff’s deputies were processing the scene the driver returned.

Deputies identified her as Emily Van Vleck. She was cited for hit-and-run and criminal mischief, said Washington County Sgt. Bob Ray. Van Vleck is from St. Paul, Oregon.
