Police seek well-groomed shoplifter

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is looking for a prolific shoplifter apparently concerned about his appearance, who is accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of health and hygiene merchandise from several Walgreens stores.

On April 11, the man stole teeth whitening strips, Alli weight loss pills, Rogaine, hair growth products, Renew Life probiotics and condoms from four stores in south Jefferson County, Colorado. The stolen items totalled over $2,600.



The same suspect is sought for stealing $2,000 worth of personal grooming products at two Walgreens in Arvada on April 10. He is also sought for a $600 theft at a Golden Walgreens.

Investigators say the man, in his late 30's to mid 40's, with a neatly groomed moustache and beard, apparently used a coat that he was carrying to conceal the stolen goods. He presumably also has gleaming white teeth, a fuller head of hair and a smoothly-running digestive system.
