Honeymooning man arrested for soliciting prostitute

Mohammed Ahmed, 21, a resident of Illinois, was on his honeymoon in Florida when he answered to an ad from an undercover detective posing as a prostitute, authorities said.

After travelling from the Omni Hotel in Champions Gate, he was arrested when he arrived for his paid liaison at an undisclosed location in Polk County.

When Ahmed did not return to his bride, she called police to report him missing.

The sheriff's office later notified her that her new husband wasn't missing, but had been charged with soliciting prostitution and possession of marijuana.

I don't think so. Assholes fulfill an important function, and we would die without them. We could all certainly live without this guy. I feel very sorry for his poor bride.

While I don't in any way condone what he did, I'd be very interested to hear what had happened between the husband and wife for him to do this. When it comes to sex, had they waited until marriage, had they found themselves sexually incompatible? Was she refusing sex? Was soliciting prostitutes a regular thing for him before they got married? He's awfully young, and probably Muslim, do these things have any relevance to the story? Too bad the story doesn't tell us anything of what would actually be interesting in this unfortunate honeymoon fiasco.
