Plan to flush evidence during drugs bust went awry when set of electronic scales blocked toilet

A man's plan to dispose of what was believed to be methamphetamine came unstuck after he blocked the toilet while trying to flush a set of electronic scales.

Police arrested the 32-year-old man at a house in Hamilton, New Zealand, and have charged him with possession of methamphetamine for supply and breaching bail.
