Police say the woman, outraged at what was happening, was joined by the motel manager in trying to cease the sexual activity. But when she told the passionate pair she had dialed 911, they tried to drive off. The woman, who has not been named, attempted to block the vehicle, but she suffered injuries to her right arm and foot as the car knocked her over to speed by.
A city police report claims she stepped in front of the SUV to tell the driver - a woman - that she could not leave until officers arrived. "The vehicle attempted to back up and pull forward to try to navigate around the victim, but she kept stepping in front of the SUV," it added.
The driver then started screaming, placing the vehicle in reverse before "nearly striking the manager before pulling forward and running into the victim on the driver's side." Officers arrived on the scene shortly after. The woman was treated by a paramedic and taken to hospital. Police are still hunting for the lovers.

The girl was stupid enough to keep getting in the driver's path. She should have just taken down their license plate number and reported it to the police.

Yes. If this state has a "contributory negligence" statute, the couple's attorney would make a point of it.
