An endorsement by David Cameron on Twitter of a £500-a-week benefit cap has backfired after he inadvertently mentioned a spoof Iain Duncan Smith account.
The Prime Minister's account wrote: "We're rolling out a cap on Benefits today - @IDS_MP and I are determined to make work pay, and help the UK compete on the #GlobalRace."
But the @IDS_MP account is a clear spoof, featuring tweets mocking pathological liar Duncan Smith, the Work and Pensions Secretary.

Posh boy, 'Call me Dave' was a latecomer to Twitter, having previously stating that "too many twits might make a twat".
Can you tell the difference between the real Iain Duncan Smith and his Twitter imitator? (Quiz).
