Man charged with vandalising school wearing nothing but Spider-Man underwear

A man was arrested on Sunday morning after law enforcement officials said he vandalised Moeller High School, Cincinnati, in his underwear.



Thomas Williams, 23, was arraigned on Monday morning in a Hamilton County court on breaking and entering and felony vandalism charges after police said he broke windows with rocks and deployed several fire extinguishers inside the school.

The investigation report filed by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office indicated Williams entered the school through one of the broken windows. The same report describes the 6-foot-5, 295-pound man as wearing "Spider-Man underwear" at the time of his arrest.

A motive for the incident and the suspect's choice of attire have not been determined. However, police said Williams told them after he was arrested that he was "looking for his football coach." A grand jury report on Williams' case is expected on July 17.
