Five drawers full of lingerie found on building site provided suitable entertainment for tradesmen

Five drawers full of a lady's lingerie have been found abandoned on a building site in Palmerston in Australia's Northern Territory, much to the entertainment of tradesmen working on a new suburb.

The coloured plastic chest appeared near the playground at the Henry St roundabout on Tuesday morning and was spilling over with dozens of knickers and bras. Nearby plasterers Jason Irvine and Jake Bracey, 31, from Nightcliff, were a little bit curious when they were told about the startling booty.

"They must have spent a bit on underwear mate," Mr Irvine, 22, from Woodroffe said. "I don't know much about women's underwear but it's pretty flash. It looks expensive, doesn't it?" Mr Irvine tried on some clothes and said they were "quite comfy" and the 32A bra was just his size. A camera was also in the drawers, but there were no pictures that one would hope to be included in such a haul.

Another builder, who would only give the name "Vinnie", said they had been found by foreman Rod Alexander. "I had a look through for an address," Vinnie said. "You should have a look at some of the gear. Corsets, G-strings, tiny knickers - she has got all the gear." The impressive find was the talk of the town and can be reclaimed from the NT News who now have possession.

Maybe the feral pig might enjoy dressing up after a few tinnies.
