you can prove anything if you start with a flawed perception
Scientists use deductive (and inductive) reasoning to reach logically certain conclusions. While Mr Amalaha has certainly used deductive reasoning his premises are flawed and thus his conclusion is logically invalid.
I really hope for the sake of the people of Nigeria that he is not involved in any research that involves any hazardous materials. Scratch that, I really hope he's not involved in any research, period.
Oh, and how does he explain the over 1500 other species of animals that exhibit homosexual behaviour? With a spinning top? Pick a card, any card? And just because he's never personally see a male lion "have sex" with another male lion does not mean it has not, does not or will not happen.
Whichever university gave him his diploma should be asking for it back.
I've been trying to work out the "form" of his argument and this is the best I can come up with:
Like magnetic poles repel
Gay people are like magnetic poles
Gay marriage is impossible
or
Male lions do not have sex with other male lions
Gay people are male lions
Gay marriage is impossible
Any other ideas?

Reading the linked article, in addition to the aforementioned leaps of logic, he also runs on the assumption that if gay marriage were legal, then ALL marriages would be same sex.
You have to wonder where those assumptions come from... as if gay sex were so awesome they have to prohibit it or else no one would have heterosexual relations anymore.
