“The dog was examined by a veterinarian, and we used a rape kit. We were very serious about this. It is very troubling.” Simmons said the veterinarian determined that Lucy was not injured during the three alleged sexual assaults, the latest being on Tuesday evening. During an interview Davis allegedly said he had assaulted the dog twice before Tuesday’s incident. An Alton police incident report said Davis previously had lived with a woman in an apartment until about Oct. 1.
He then moved in with the dog’s owner, who told police he has known Davis for only two months. The owner told police he came home on Tuesday to find Davis lying on a love seat, restraining and having sex with the dog, prompting the owner to yell at the suspect, “What the (expletive) are you doing?” The dog owner told police that Davis replied, “I’m sorry man, I have no excuse.” Davis then left the home on a bicycle, and the owner called police, the report said.
Davis is listed as a child sex offender on the Illinois State Police Sex Offenders Registry. It says he forced a 16-year-old to have sex with him when he was 33. “The Alton Police Department takes all sex offences seriously,” Simmons said. “It was good and fast police work that resulted in the apprehension of this predator. We are happy to report that Lucy has been seen by the vet and suffered no physical injuries as a result of these incidents. Thankfully, we were able to stop Davis before his behaviour escalated and he went after, or hurt, anyone else.” A judge has set bail at $50,000.

He lived with a woman, and then a man. Who could possibly live with something who looked like that? I'm not surprised that he's sexually deviant.
