‘Open government’ launch marred by spelling mistake

Kathleen Wynne, Premier of Ontario in Canada was forced to spell-check her own press conference when a reporter pointed out a glaring but previously unnoticed spelling mistake.

The podium the Premier was standing at had the words “open goverment” written across the front.

“That is really not good,” she said when the mistake was pointed out.

She was given a pen by someone off-camera and tried to insert the missing ‘n.’

Video.

And that's minor compared to the rest of the corruption, incompetence and waste of money attributable to that government.

*That* government or the McGuinty government?

Mike, well that be the Liberal Party of Ontario. If there's any doubt, I can offer up some Robert Nixon gems as well, I go that far back. Sadly, the alternatives are lame at best.
