The male driver drives towards the mysterious creature, apparently thinking it is a hare. But his wife can be heard exclaiming “Kangaroo!” in a thick Russian accent. Oddly enough, she’s right.
The couple pulled over and the woman attempted to feed the rogue 'roo a banana. The confused animal then hopped off into the forest.

According to local media, residents of the Saratov region have previously spotted the stray kangaroo at least twice this year. There is speculation that the animal could have fled from a private zoo owned by a local businessman.

I thought it was probably a wallaby, but a couple of Australian news organisations that also covered this story reported it as being a kangaroo.
So I figured they'd know a kangaroo when they saw one.
