A Florida man allegedly posed as a police officer to get a free meal at an IHOP restaurant and then flashed his buttocks at a server when the ruse didn’t work. Orlando police responded to the IHOP and learned Skytta has been going into the restaurant for several days, claiming he was a police officer and demanding free food.
During the most recent incident, which unfolded at about 1am on Friday, a restaurant manager recognized Skytta as the man who had ordered and ate food in the past, but then claimed he had no money to pay. A server asked Skytta if he had money to pay for his meal, to which Skytta replied, "No, but I am a cop, and I get food for free." The report said Skytta, 55, then pulled an Orlando Police Department insignia patch out of his wallet.
The server told Skytta police pay for their meals at IHOP and he wouldn't be getting any free food. The server asked Skytta to leave. That's when, police said, Skytta told the server, "I'm not going anywhere until you feed me." The server began to call 911, and Skytta threatened to beat up the employee. When the server began to walk away, Skytta shouted, "Hey buddy!" The server turned around to look at Skytta, who then dropped his pants and exposed himself to the server and customers.
Skytta was still at the booth when police arrived. When police took him out of the IHOP, Skytta said, "I'm a Green Beret! If I die, Obama dies!" He continued talking, stating that he knows the police chief, and that his "retired brothers will help me out." When police searched Skytta's wallet, they found the agency's insignia patch. Skytta was arrested on charges of impersonating a law-enforcement officer, trespassing, and disorderly conduct.
