That reminds me of a funny incident from my childhood. A burgler was being chased through our neighborhood by police helicopter. Our yard had lots of trees so the police had to investigate there on foot.
They did so by opening our unlocked front door, stepping over our sleeping dog, and walking through the house to the back yard.
