Lady is still wearing cardigan after 54 years

Swansea woman Pam Hopkins has been wearing her treasured yellow, green and brown cardigan for 54 years.

Mrs Hopkins, 75, from Llansamlet, said it was bought for her by her mother-in-law as a Christmas present.



“It has never lost a button and is still intact since it was given to me,” she said.

“I was thrilled when she gave it to me. It is lovely. It is cosy and warm. I think it has worn quite well over the years. I still wear it after all these years.”
